3D TYPE TEXT
1. Create a New Document about 800X600 and Then Grab your Horizontal Type Tool. Set your Font Size pretty large I chose 150pt Black. Type you out a few letters or so. Then When you got the font and size you want right click on the Type layer and select Rasterize Layer. .

2. Now make sure your type layer is selected and Go to Edit>Transform> Perspective. Grab right below the bottom Left Anchor point and pull it to your left. When you get the perspective you want Double click inside the box to apply the effect. Now go to Filter>Styleize>Emboss and apply Angle 145/Height 3/Amount 151. Press ok

3. Now make sure your type layer is selected in your layers pallete and then hold Ctrl+Alt and press the up arrow key on your keyboard until you get the desired thickness you wish to have.
Now go over to your layers pallete and select the Eye next to your BG layer to hide it. Then Click on the little arrow button on the top right corner of your layers pallete and select Merge Visible.

4. Now you can apply some layer styles to spice it up the way you want to. Apply a Color Overlay/Gradient Overlay and some drop shadow and you get a pretty cool looking image.
